Eni S.p.A. reported a proforma adjusted EBIT of €3.54 billion for the first quarter of 2026, a 4% decrease compared to the first quarter of 2025, primarily due to an 11.2% appreciation in the EUR/USD exchange rate and a one-off gain in the power business in the prior year. Despite these factors, the company is raising its full-year 2026 CFFO guidance by 20% to €13.8 billion and increasing its proposed share buyback by almost 90% to €2.8 billion.
