(NASDAQ: POWL) is filing this Current Report on Form 8-K/A to amend Item 2.02 of its Current Report on Form 8-K filed on February 7, 2017 (the Original Report). This Amendment No. 1 relates to the correction of an error contained in the press release attached as Exhibit 99.1 to the Original Report, which corrects the September 30 column in the Condensed Consolidated Balance Sheets. Item 2.02 – Results of Operations and Financial Condition On February 7, 2017, Powell Industries, Inc. issued a corrected press release regarding the Company’s results of operations for its fiscal 2017 first quarter ended December 31, 2016. The full text of the corrected press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K/A and is incorporated herein by reference.
