Other Events .   On June 9, 2021, The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company experienced a cybersecurity incident, resulting in a systems outage.  A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99 and is incorporated herein by reference.   In addition to the information set forth in the release, one should carefully consider the discussions on the risks and uncertainties that cyber security events, breaches and other disruptions in our information systems and interruptions at our manufacturing facilities may have on the Company, its business and financial results contained in Part I, Item 1A, “Risk Factors” in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on February, 12, 2021.     Item 9.01 Financial Statements and Exhibits .
