Marye and John D. Jacobi resigned from the Board of Directors of Comstock Resources, Inc. (the "Company") effective on August 21, 2020.   The resignations of Mr. Marye and Mr. Jacobi were related to the ownership by Covey Park Holdings LLC of the Company’s common stock decreasing to less than 10% of the total shares outstanding and were not the result of any disagreements with the Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices.   M. Jay Allison, Roland O. Burns, Elizabeth B. Davis, Morris E. Foster and Jim L. Turner will continue to serve on the Company's Board of Directors and Mr. Allison will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors has determined not to fill the vacancies resulting from the resignations of Mr. Marye and Mr. Jacobi at this time.
