Results of Operations and Financial Condition On April 30, 2019, Stepan Company (“Stepan”) issued a press release providing its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference. In addition, on April 30, 2019, Stepan issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.25 per share. The dividend will be paid on June 14, 2019, to common stockholders of record on May 31, 2019. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.2 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
