PETROBRAS - PETROLEO BRASILEIRO SA files 6-K

Petrobras announced its decision to exercise its preemptive right to acquire Petronas' 50% interests in the Tartaruga Verde and Espadarte – Module III fields for US$ 450 million, which will result in Petrobras holding a 100% interest in these assets. The transaction is subject to precedent conditions, including approval by Brazil's National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
