Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. (SMFG) will introduce a shareholder benefit program effective September 30, 2026, to expand its investor base and encourage long-term shareholding. Eligible shareholders who meet specific shareholding and holding period requirements, and maintain an "Olive Account," can receive benefits including V POINTs, an additional interest coupon for yen time deposits, or invitations to SMBC Group events.
