Honda Motor Co., Ltd. expects to record losses between 820.0 billion yen and 1,120.0 billion yen in operating costs and expenses, and between 110.0 billion yen and 150.0 billion yen in share of loss of investments accounted for using the equity method, due to a reassessment of its automobile electrification strategy. This reassessment has also led Sony Honda Mobility Inc. to discontinue the development and launch of its first and second models.
