On May 14, 2020, following review of guidance issued by the United States Treasury Department and the U.S. Small Business Administration on May 6, 2020, Kewaunee Scientific Corporation (the “Company”) returned all funds it previously received pursuant to the Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) established under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act. The loan was approved on May 3, 2020 and received on May 7, 2020, as described in a Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on May 7, 2020. In light of the return of the funds from the PPP loan, the Company no longer intends to file with the SEC a copy of the related promissory note as an exhibit to the Company’s Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended April 30, 2020.
