(NYSE: BIO and BIOb) (“Bio-Rad”) today announced that on the evening of December 5, 2019, Bio-Rad detected a ransomware attack on its network. Bio-Rad immediately took certain systems offline as part of its comprehensive response to contain the activity. Work is ongoing to restore full system functionality as quickly as possible. Customers may experience delays in placing orders while Bio-Rad’s systems are down. At this time, there is no evidence of unauthorized transfer or misuse of data.
