On November 13, 2018, Leif E. Darner, a director of Flowserve Corporation (the “Company”), notified the Company of his intention to retire as a director of the Company and not stand for re-election at the 2019 annual meeting of shareholders, which is the end of his current term. Mr. Darner’s decision not to stand for re-election is not the result of any disagreement with management or the Board of Directors of the Company.
