Reference is made to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed on May 17, 2018, by registrants Ameren Corporation and Union Electric Company, doing business as Ameren Missouri, for a discussion of Missouri Senate Bill 564 (“SB 564”). On June 1, 2018, SB 564 was signed into law by the Missouri governor. The provisions requiring the Missouri Public Service Commission to authorize a reduction in rates to pass through to customers the effect of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 within 90 days became effective immediately, while the remainder of SB 564 becomes effective on August 28, 2018. -------------------------------- This combined Form 8-K is being filed separately by Ameren Corporation and Union Electric Company (each a “registrant”).
