NEXTERA ENERGY INC files DEF 14A

NextEra Energy shareholders will vote on six proposals at the May 21, 2026 Annual Meeting: the election of 12 director nominees, ratification of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the independent auditor, an advisory vote on executive compensation, and two shareholder proposals regarding climate change. The Board recommends "FOR" all director nominees, "FOR" the auditor ratification, "FOR" the say-on-pay proposal, and "AGAINST" both shareholder proposals.
