On May 9, 2025, Brenda M. Hall, Executive Vice President and Chief
Operating Officer, Standard Lines of Selective Insurance Company of America, the lead insurance subsidiary of Selective Insurance Group,
Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company of her intention to retire effective January 5, 2026. Ms. Hall’s retirement
is not the result of any disagreement with the Company. The Company will undertake a process to identify a successor.
A copy of the Company’s press release announcing Ms. Hall’s
retirement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
