(the "Company") filed a Current Report on Form 8-K (the "Original Form 8-K") announcing that the United Airlines Pilots Master Executive Council of the Air Line Pilots Association, International designated Captain Anne Worster to fill the vacancy resulting from the departure of Captain Garth Thompson from the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board"), effective February 27, 2024. At the time of filing the Original Form 8-K, the Board had not yet designated any committees of the Board on which Captain Worster would serve. This Amendment No. 1 to the Original Form 8-K is being filed to report that, effective February 28, 2024, the Board approved the recommendation of the Nominating/Governance Committee to assign Captain Worster to serve as a member of the Public Responsibility Committee of the Board. Except as set forth herein, the Original Form 8-K is unchanged.   Item 5.02.
