Michael, 51, has been appointed Vice Chairman, Finance and Commercial Operations and Chief Financial Officer, effective as of December 16, 2021. Mr. Michael has been AbbVie’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since October 2018, previously serving as AbbVie’s Vice President, Controller from March 2017 until October 2018, as Vice President, Treasurer from 2015 to 2016, and as Vice President, Controller, Commercial Operations from 2013 to 2015.
