On November 17, 2019, Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. (the “ Company ”) appointed Mr. Jeremy Smeltser to the additional office of Chief Financial Officer of the Company to succeed Mr. Douglas Martin. Mr. Martin will continue to serve as Executive Vice President of the Company until his employment end date, which is expected to be December 20, 2019. Item 8.01.   Other Events. On November 15, 2019, Spectrum Brands, Inc., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, completed the previously announced redemption of its $116,462,000 aggregate outstanding principal amount of its 6.625% Senior Notes due 2022 (the “ Notes ”). Pursuant to the indenture governing the Notes, the Notes were redeemed at a price of 101.1042% of the principal amount thereof, plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon to the redemption date.
