Banco Santander expects a strong start to 2026, with profit on track to be higher than 2025, and is set to approve the capital increase for the acquisition of Webster Financial Corporation. The company also announced a final cash dividend for 2025 of 12.5 euro cents per share, bringing the total for 2025 to 24 euro cents per share, an increase of over 14% from the previous year.
