PPL Corporation's subsidiary, The Narragansett Electric Company (d/b/a Rhode Island Energy), issued $400 million of Senior Notes due 2056 on May 18, 2026, to repay short-term debt and for general corporate purposes. This issuance was made through a private placement to qualified institutional buyers and certain non-U.S. persons.
