On March 14, 2017, Universal Corporation (the “Company”) announced that David C. Moore, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, recently returned to the Company from a temporary medical leave of absence and has resumed his management duties and responsibilities as the Company's principal financial officer, effective March 14, 2017. Other Events On March 14, 2017, the Company issued a press release announcing that its Chief Financial Officer returned to the Company from a temporary medical leave of absence.  The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
