(the “Company”) is filing this Amendment No. 1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K to amend Items 7.01 and 9.01 of the Current Report on Form 8-K filed on August 6, 2019 (the “Original Form 8-K”). The Company has determined that certain errors were made in the calculation of Non-GAAP Economic Profit for the Rail Products Group included on slides 8 and 42 of the Investor Presentation furnished as Exhibit 99.1 in the Original Form 8-K. Accordingly, the Company is filing this amendment solely to correct such computation errors in Exhibit 99.1. No other changes have been made to the Original Form 8-K. Item 7.01      Regulation FD Disclosure. Trinity Industries, Inc. has updated its presentation for investors and interested parties to include the activity for the second quarter of 2019. The materials to be utilized in future investor presentations are attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
