Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders. As previously reported on a Form 8-K filed on May 5, 2017, at the 2017 annual meeting of shareholders of Tenet Healthcare Corporation (the "Company"), the Company's shareholders approved, on an advisory basis, that future advisory votes on executive compensation be held annually. Pursuant to paragraph (d) of Item 5.07, this amendment to the previously-filed Form 8-K is being filed to report that, consistent with the results of the advisory vote, the Company's Board of Directors, acting through its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, determined on August 9, 2017 to continue holding an annual advisory vote with respect to the Company's executive compensation. The next required advisory vote on the frequency of shareholder votes on executive compensation will occur at the Company's 2023 annual meeting of shareholders.
