Explanatory Note On November 1, 2017, MSA Safety Incorporated (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8‑K reporting that the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) had elected Sandra Phillips Rogers to the Board on October 26, 2017. Pursuant to Item 5.02(d) of Form 8-K, this Form 8-K/A is being filed for the purpose of reporting Ms. Rogers' committee appointments approved by the Board following her election to the Board. (d) On December 13, 2017, the Board appointed Ms. Rogers to its Audit and Law Committees.
