On March 20, 2020, Brunswick Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release to provide an update on the global operational and business impacts related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Company announced that it will temporarily suspend production, beginning March 23, at certain of its propulsion and boat facilities over the next few weeks in response to the impact of COVID-19. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1. In addition, this situation is constantly changing, and the Company continues to work with its local teams on mitigating the operational and business impacts. At this time, neither the duration nor scope of the disruption caused by COVID-19 can be predicted.  Consequently, the financial impact to the Company’s results and future financial or operational performance, including its fiscal 2020 guidance, cannot be reasonably estimated. The Company will provide an update during its first quarter earnings call.
