ITEM 8.01    Other Events On July 28, 2022, Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. (the "Company") announced that its Board of Directors authorized increasing the amount available under the Company's Share Repurchase Program to allow the Company to repurchase up to an additional $200.0 million of stock. As of June 30, 2022, $98.1 million of stock remained available for repurchases under the Company's current Share Repurchase Program which was authorized by the Board in July 2020 and in November 2017. Repurchases under the Share Repurchase Program may be made at management's discretion from time to time on the open market or through privately negotiated transactions. The Share Repurchase Program has no time limit and may be suspended for periods or discontinued at any time. Any shares acquired will be available for general corporate purposes, including supporting employee stock plans, funding acquisitions and minimizing dilution from stock issuances.
