R. Berkley Corporation           3 Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers. On May 27, 2020, W. R. Berkley Corporation (the “Company”) announced Ira S. Lederman’s resignation from his position as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Secretary.  Mr. Lederman’s resignation as an executive officer of the Company is effective June 1, 2020.  Mr. Lederman will continue as a part time employee of the Company as Of Counsel and Assistant Secretary with his compensation being adjusted commensurate with his new role.  Mr. Lederman’s outstanding long-term incentive awards will be treated in accordance with their applicable terms.  W.
