Item 5.02    Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors, Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers. On June 29, 2022, Cherie A. Pashley, Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer of Unum Group (the “Company”), notified the Company of her resignation. Her last day with the Company will be July 8, 2022, following which Steven A. Zabel, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, will serve on an interim basis as the Company’s principal accounting officer until a successor has been named.
